Cookie Policy

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember you, keep you signed in, and understand how it is used. This policy explains the cookies Batayan uses and how you can control them.

How we use cookies

We use cookies for three purposes:

  • Essential — required to keep you signed in, protect against cross-site request forgery, and keep the service secure. These cannot be disabled without breaking the platform.
  • Functional — remember preferences such as your language and workspace choices.
  • Analytics — aggregated, de-identified information about how the platform is used, which helps us improve it.

Third-party cookies

When you complete a purchase, our payment processors (PayMongo and Lemon Squeezy) may place their own cookies to handle checkout and prevent fraud. These are subject to the processors' own cookie and privacy policies.

Managing cookies

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in to Batayan, so we recommend keeping them enabled. Analytics and functional cookies can usually be disabled without affecting core functionality.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service and the technologies we use evolve. Any changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date.
